West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Parallel, via Goodblend, is collaborating with Pitt to test the company’s cannabis formulations in the treatment of sickle cell disease and other issues. Pitt will receive $3 million as part of the deal in unrestricted grants to investigate the efficacy and safety of medical cannabis.
